Sephora: Beauty Store
If you’ve ever regretted buying new skincare or make up products, you should be shopping at Sephora – it is THE beauty store. They carry traditional beauty brands sold at department stores, diverse range of dermatologist brands and lots of make up artist brands. But its not about the brands or the products, customer service makes it THE beauty store. You can return any product that you’ve bought from Sephora. Even if you’ve tried it at home. Even if you no longer have the receipt. And even if it has been months.
1. sales and promo code events: Friends & family (also known as VIB) is twice a year (15-20% off in april and november), free birthday gift and they do have a sale section but its usually seasonal products. I’ve received promo codes randomly few years ago but I don’t think they do that anymore. Also if you’re buying lots of things, consider placing multiple orders. Especially if each item qualifies for free shipping. That way you can get tonnes of free samples! Always check the ‘View Current Promos’ box before you check out for additional samples and offers. Its free to join VIB and you can accumulate points and get premium samples.
2. shipping fees: Shipping is free for orders of $50 or more. Otherwise shipping fee is $5.95. I’m cheap. If I have to buy something and its under $50, I buy another item to qualify for free shipping and return the unwanted item via mail or to the store.
3. customer service: Assistance is available via phone, live chat and email. Representatives/Beauty Advisors can help with questions, replacing defective/damaged items and changes to orders. Return policy is excellent – you can return anytime via mail or to store with receipt or without receipt.
Please bring back more friends & family events!
